О фильме: Бездомный Борис находит на свалке утюг со следами крови и относит его в полицию, ведь это может быть орудие убийства. Но никто всерьёз не воспринимает местного мусорщика, пока следователь Валерия Перова не заинтересовывается делом неизвестной девушки, найденной мертвой у загородной трассы. На голове жертвы она замечает след, подозрительно похожий на след от удара утюгом. Но экспертиза уже установила, что девушка сбита автомобилем. Валерия уверена, что в этом, казалось бы, очевидном деле не всё так просто, нужно только установить личность жертвы. Неожиданно на помощь следствию приходит Борис, и дело приобретает совершенно иной оборот. Между тем личность и мотивы самого Бориса для Валерии остаются загадкой.
