О фильме: После праздничного корпоратива за директором крупной ремонтной компании Еленой Абрамовой начинает ухлестывать ее зам Анатолий Живенко. Сердце одинокой Елены дрогнуло, и она решила присмотреться к ухажеру. Отношения кажутся многообещающими, пока в офис не врывается разъяренный клиент Семен, который требует дать адрес квартиры, где его жена с любовником только что заказали ремонт. Затевается драка, и, к удивлению Елены, Живенко не полез вступаться за нее, а вызвал полицию, стоя в сторонке. Попытка Елены наладить личную жизнь вскоре становится невыполнимой. Ее сын насмерть сбивает женщину, и выясняется, что это – жена районного прокурора. Суд приговаривает юношу к пяти годам заключения. Убитая горем, Елена возвращается ночью с зоны домой, и посреди пустой дороги у ее машины глохнет мотор. Неожиданно из темноты появляется старый джип. За рулем – тот самый «неадекватный хам» Семен, пьяный, да еще и с ружьем. Напуганная, Елена мысленно прощается с жизнью…
