О фильме: После гибели родителей в автокатастрофе двенадцатилетняя Тамара переезжает и попадает на воспитание к холодной бабушке. Пара планирует открыть мастерскую, но богатый москвич Макар, влюбившийся в Тамару, подставляет Илью и отправляет его в тюрьму на семь лет. Тамара, поверившая в ложь Макара, выходит за него замуж, но вскоре узнает о подставе и начинает процесс пересмотра дела Ильи. Пройдя через трудности, Тамара и Илья воссоединяются, но Макар не дает им покоя. Сможет ли любовь пары выдержать противостояние с человеком, который не остановится ни перед чем?
